Dairy Management Systems attend the Welsh Dairy Show

We attended the welsh dairy show on the 15th October at the United Counties Showground, Carmarthen. The show consisted of cattle showing in the showground itself and trade stands both in a large marquee and outdoors. The day started off very overcast and foggy but this quickly cleared and with it bought many visitors to the large array of trade stands. Our stand, pictured below, was situated inside and almost opposite to the entrance to the marquee. Throughout the day we spoke to many interesting farmers and farm workers and helped answer any H&S questions they had. The event was a great success and we certainly expect to be making the trip down to Wales again next year.

Gold Cup

Dairy Management Systems attended the RABDF Gold Cup 2013 at Greville Hall Farm in Evesham as sponsors for the second year running.

The event was a great success with over 1,000 people and 50 sponsors attending. The day revolved around a series of talks being given in the main tent, these included an introduction to Greville Hall Farm and also an interesting talk on the value of a pedigree cow.

The afternoon saw the Golden Celebration Sale where 50 pedigree cows were sold to the highest bidder. This lasted approximately two hours and was a great way to end the day.
